My name is Mae Hurtig (she/her), and I'm so happy you're here!

I grew up in Evanston, Illinois (right outside of Chicago) and began dancing at 3 years old. I quickly fell in love with ballet, storytelling, and every movie musical I could find. When I wasn't watching Judy Garland or Gene Kelly, I was practicing my pliés and dreaming of dance class. 

 

Slowly, I transitioned from the classical ballet world to the theater one, drawn to character and music! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Musical Theater, emphasis in Dance, and then moved to New York City to pursue a career in the arts.
